Robert Yellowhawk

I am a highly experienced business manager with a proven track record of 13 years of experience, providing dedicated support to the Rural America Initiatives (RAI) staff and students. Throughout my tenure with RAI, I have been deeply involved in working with at-risk Native youth and families, striving to make a positive impact on their lives. I hold the role of assisting the RAI Executive Director in the fiscal management of overseeing the federal and nonfederal funded programs, and ensuring their effective implementation and success. As an enrolled tribal member of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe, I have a strong connection to my cultural heritage. In addition to my professional commitments, I also run a seasonal business that focuses on educating travelers in South Dakota through captivating demonstrations of powwow traditional dance and regalia. Since 2005, I have been performing for the Rapid City tourism, captivating audiences with the richness and significance of Indigenous traditions.
