Elexa Dawson

Elexa Dawson is a founding member of Weda Skirts, Dawson released her first solo album, “Music Is Medicine,” on Lost Cowgirl Records in December 2019. "Music is Medicine" has received international airplay and charted on Sirius XM’s Indigenous Music Countdown. She also performs and shares authorship with Heyleon, a cross-pollination of established Kansas bluegrass musicians. In April of 2020, Heyleon released "Friends and Family” and Weda Skirts released albums, “Mother” in 2018 and “Many Moons” in 2016.
