BIOGRAPHY
Sapphire (she/her) is Miniconjou, Sicangu Lakota and Dine’ from Eagle Butte, SD, on the Cheyenne River Indian Reservation. She is currently a senior at Black Hills State University (BHSU) and will graduate in May 2024 with a Bachelor of Science degree. She is majoring in Communications & Media with two minors in Mass Communications and an emphasis in Audio/Visual & American Indian Studies. Sapphire is currently the Vice President of Lakota Omniciye, a Native student-run organization at BHSU.
