BIOGRAPHY
Hilary Smith brings with her nearly 20 years of fundraising experience to First Peoples Fund. A Bachelor of Arts graduate of St. Olaf College, she later earned her Master of Arts and Cultural Leadership from the University of Minnesota. Hilary has raised funds for some of the largest cultural institutions in the Twin Cities, including Minnesota Public Radio, The Trust for Public Land, the American Red Cross, Guthrie Theater, the Children's Theatre Company and the Minnesota Opera. Most recently she worked for Theater Latté Da, a regional theater company dedicated to producing musical theater. Her fundraising career includes securing major federal and state funding, multi-year capital campaigns, annual giving, and fundraising events. She currently serves on the board of directors for Trademark Theater in St. Paul, Minnesota.
