BIOGRAPHY
Lisa brings over 30 years of communications and fundraising experience, supporting regional, national, and international nonprofits such as Divine Chocolate Inc., Save Our Wild Salmon, the Onondaga Indian Nation, and World Wildlife Fund. Early in her career, she founded a public interest PR firm and has served as a professor, press secretary, and legislative aide focusing on women’s issues. Before joining First Peoples Fund, Lisa held senior leadership roles at Animal Humane Society, Thrivent Charitable Impact Investing, and Lutheran World Relief. She chairs the board of the Project on Government Oversight and actively advises local and national causes. Lisa earned her B.A. from Gustavus Adolphus College and her M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota.
