BIOGRAPHY
My name is Jordan Carlow, and I am proud to be Oglala Sioux from the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation. Living here gives me a strong sense of identity and connection to my culture. I have a son named Wyld Cat with my wonderful partner, and being a mother is one of the greatest joys in my life. Every day brings new experiences as I watch him grow, learn, and explore the world around him.
As an artist myself, I find joy in creativity every day. I love to paint and sew, these activities allow me to express who I am and share my story with others. There’s something magical about taking an idea from my mind and bringing it to life on canvas or fabric.
I am excited to work in such a creative space where I can further explore my artistic passions while connecting with others who share similar interests. Art has the power to inspire change and bring people together. As I continue this journey as both a mother and an artist, I hope to create pieces that resonate with others and celebrate our beautiful culture.
