Clarissa Rizal

Taught by the late master Chilkat weaver, Jennie Thlunaut, Clarissa specializes in design and creation of Tlingit ceremonial regalia. She has designed and created more than 60 Chilkat, Ravenstail and Button blanket robes. In keeping with her teachers example, Clarissa continues to help revive the art of Chilkat weaving through teaching others the gift she has been given through workshops and apprenticeships.
