My name is Samuel Greatwalker LaFountain and I was born in 1986 in Santa Fe, New Mexico. I'm a second-generation Metalsmith/ jeweler by trade, I've been in the field for 22 years helping with my famili’s jewelry. Jewelry making is not only a passion but also my career. I specialize in multiple disciplines, Silversmith, Goldsmith, Lapidary, Gem-Setting, Stamp Work, Repoussé and Metal Forming. I infuse Contemporary concepts within my rich Traditional background. I aspire to create and lead in the jewelry industry. I strive to inspire and hopefully provide an example for Indigenous creatives to explore.
