BIOGRAPHY
Kalima Rose, Associate Director, is the leader of the PolicyLink affordable housing and regional equity team. She manages local and statewide housing initiatives for PolicyLink, and has expertise in helping communities pass policies that: finance affordable housing; change land use policy to better support mixed-income housing development; and advance fair housing practices.
Rose also coordinates the organization’s Louisiana recovery work, collaborating with state officials, community organizations, national institutions, and faith leaders to shape equitable rebuilding of New Orleans and Louisiana. She led the creation of the Equitable Development Toolkit, an online resource that brings best social equity practices for housing, land use, asset building, and financing of equitable development.
