This workshop series will focus on sewing star pattern baby bags, pot holders, and pillows leading up to creating Star Quilts. Traditional stories and teachings about the historical and cultural significance of stars, star knowledge, and star quilts will be shared with participants as they create their pieces.

Oglala Lakota Art Space
Provide Participants with knowledge of Peyote Stitch, Loomwork, Flat Stitch and Lazy Stitch. Participants will choose their projects they wish to bead including moccasins, turtles, lizards, chains, medallions, pouches and bags.
